The origin of the name Castaic is the Chumash Native American word Kashtuk, meaning "eyes." Modern Castaic began in 1915 with the opening of the original Ridge Route, which brought travelers looking for gasoline, water, food and lodging to the community. Some of the earliest businesses started in Castaic are Castaic Brick (founded 1927) and George Dunn's Wayside Dairy (founded 1929). Sam's Place (Sam Parson, proprietor) on the Ridge Route has long since gone and is now a memory. Castaic is a major truck stop along the Interstate 5 freeway.
We are in the business of assisting homeowners underwater or in distress with their mortgage; our main goal is to help homeowners perform short sales. We have a team of reliable realtors, attorneys, and loan brokers to assist and process short sales for all types of homeowners. We are licensed California Realtors and real estate brokers.
As our business has grown we understand that many of our clients are experiencing economic, employment, or credit problems that have kept them from qualifying for traditional mortgage re-fi loans, or they are simply underwater and holding on to their property amounts to a bad financial decision.
Today, our industry is so overwhelmed with distressed homeowners that we have focused our attention on these homeowners to help them negotiate with their lenders for a short sale (short pay-off). As a group we have a strong depth of experience and have successfully closed hundreds of short sales for home owners in distress.
