About Tibor Marton
Connecting with people has always come naturally to Tibor Marton, a byproduct of his genuine interest in getting to know individuals from all walks of life. Perhaps it's a result of the vast spectrum he's personally traveled (most of it on his motorcycle) on the road to his new role at JohnHart. His rich life has found him working everything from entry-level positions to branch management and feeling at home on either of America's beautiful coasts as the open road in between.
Tibor grew up in New York City, where he eventually attended school, studying pre-engineering and architecture. His 34 years of experience in the ultra-competitive banking and financial industries began on Wall Street. Over several years and states, he climbed the ladder, picking up many valuable skills along the way, including sales, service, community relations, and hiring and developing staff. His reputation as the "Biker Banker" preceded him, even as he took on the demanding branch management roles for notable companies, including Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, and Logix Federal Credit Union. With his wife having worked in real Estate for the past two decades, Tibor exhibits a familiarity with the real estate industry, a knack for team building, and a diversity of experience, all of which he brings to his new role at JohnHart.
Tibor's love of riding is to the point that he is ready to take his bike to a professional track where he can safely push the limits. He loves to explore his surroundings with his wife (whether on two or four wheels). Tibor was recently hit by the running bug, having just competed in his first LA Marathon and looking forward to the next one. He enjoys cooking, grilling, and his recently discovered interest in smoking meats. Tibor also loves all kinds of music: from classical to progressive rock and everything in between. He never runs short of musical selections for his life's soundtrack.
