About Nikita Melwani

Marrying her background in data-driven economics with the unbounded creativity of her marketing history, Nikita Melwani brings a thorough and comprehensive approach to her role as JohnHart Real Estate’s Head of Growth and Intelligence. Nikita reassesses our corporate systems and processes to ensure they evolve to keep pace with our ever-improving standards and expectations, facilitating more enjoyable experiences for agents and clients alike. Using a discerning eye, she identifies points of connection between the myriad companies and departments under our umbrella to ensure optimal performances and spearheads strategic growth initiatives including events that boost our brokerage’s public profile while exponentially including our individual agents in this expansion.

Born and raised in LA, Nikita grew up in the San Fernando Valley, modeling her inexhaustible work ethic on the drive and determination of her grandparents who immigrated to America 50 years ago under the promise of the American Dream. Adopting that same passion, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2023 with double Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Economics and Media Studies. Nikita notes that the dichotomy of these majors is integral to her work style which finds her incorporating data-informed strategies with creative direction and innovative execution.

Alongside pursuing her twin degrees, Nikita worked in student housing as a Community Manager, blending the responsibilities of a Property Manager and Residential Assistant. She excelled so strongly in this role that she was asked to join the team full-time as an Operations Manager after graduation. This added further responsibilities involving marketing, leasing, and operations of an 18-property portfolio. While working in Berkeley, Nikita led the charge for Corporate Partnerships, Branding, & Investor Relationships during which she achieved, among other accomplishments, sourcing a 3-year partnership with Cal Athletics allowing her organization to promote at their sporting events while cultivating NIL deals.

Since joining JohnHart, Nikita has applied her unique mix of hard logic and creativity to contrast what works against what doesn’t, ensuring a smoother path forward for our agents, clients, and community as a whole.
