For Mariam Marabyan, every open house feels like her first one. She’s a rare case; a realtor who sold her very first single family home at her very first open house. But this wasn’t a jaw dropping example of beginner’s luck. She just has a gift for understanding people and real estate alike. Mariam moved to Los Angeles from Armenia with her family when she was just 16-years-old. She graduated from Hollywood High School before getting a once-in-a-lifetime job offer… and if she’d taken it, her career path would have been very different indeed. But she’d need to relocate to Reno, Nevada and she didn’t want to put her children and family through the strain. And there are many families across this city who are glad Mariam made the decision to stay.

She had already decided to make things work in Los Angeles when her friends began to suggest she explore a future in real estate. Her outgoing personality, love for people, and ceaseless determination seemed a natural fit for life as a real estate agent. So, Mariam confidently took the plunge. Immediately after earning her realtor’s license, she was asked to work for Prudential Real Estate who would go on to become Coldwell Banker Hallmark Realty. In the nearly two decades since that day, she’s been helping countless families across the Greater Los Angeles area with her natural knack for making clients’ dreams come true.

Mariam gratefully marvels at the strange road she traveled to get from importing and exporting electronic components to doing what she truly loves everyday: making people’s real estate dreams come true. It doesn’t matter if a home is being bought or sold; Mariam adores working with both perspectives. Real estate gives her a tireless energy. She can easily show 10 homes a day without breaking a sweat or spend hours happily discussing remodeling ideas, property potential, and everything in between with her beloved clients.
