About Johnny Tang

Supported by over 20 years of experience, real estate agent Johnny Tang has built a reputation for his aggressive and effective buyer strategies as well as his specialty in multi-unit properties. He’s sold countless types of residential real estate, but his personal experience as the former owner/operator of over 350 units gives him a unique insight that he’s happy to share with clients. Yet, he considers his unparalleled negotiation skills his greatest asset, employing bold techniques that play into time sensitivity for winning results.

Born in Cambodia but with Chinese ancestry, Johnny immigrated with his family to the U.S. amidst the 1970 Southeast Asia conflict. Growing up near Elysian Park, he fondly recalls experiencing a few Dodgers World Series wins. After obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly Pomona, he entered an extensive career that incorporated customer service, sales, and even recruiting, all helping others to better their lives.

While taking time to raise his sons, Johnny recognized that the ultimate conclusion to this lay in real estate: helping others find their place in the world or building a more secure portfolio of investment. With this objective in mind, he handily obtained his license in 2003 and has been serving his Burbank community with sound counsel, airtight strategy, and artful negotiation ever since. In his free time, Johnny focuses on aiding the unhoused, mentoring youth, and his non-profit which helps set up schools in Cambodia.
