About Rita Strickroth

When the National Association of Realtors revealed their tagline “Real Estate Is My Life”, Rita Strickroth could relate. This 2nd generation REALTOR® has been working in the industry since 1962 with nearly 4 decades of that time as a licensed professional. Rita listens carefully to her clients, giving them her undivided attention to ensure she fully understands their needs before executing a tailor-made plan informed by her vast knowledge and experience. She’s also recognized for her accessibility, leaving herself available to clients at all hours so they always know she’s there if they need to talk. Knowing that she’s helped her clients through one of the most crucial investments of their lives leaves her with an incomparable feeling.

Rita was raised in West Covina by parents who were the owner brokers of a small boutique real estate company during the 1960s. In 1962, a teenage Rita got her first taste of the realty life when she started working for her parents. When Rita was just 19, her parents trusted her to manage the office when they moved to Hawaii. While maintaining her role in her parents’ company, she also studied Marketing Sales and Psychology at Mt. San Antonio College.

By 1975, Rita was serving as CEO of the Covina Valley Board of Realtors. In 1985, she moved to Seal Beach (where she continues to reside today), quickly becoming the CEO of the Laguna Board of Realtors. It was this same year that she obtained her real estate license. By 1988, Rita was working full time as an in-demand Glendora-area REALTOR®, building lasting relationships with clients and agents alike. She even spent 18 years assisting the California Orange County Superior Court Probate Referee by providing her expertise in the real estate field. Today, she serves everywhere "from mountains to the sea": neighborhoods in the Greater East San Gabriel Valley, Long Beach, Coastal North Orange County, Belmont Shore, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Norco, and the Corona area of Riverside County.

Rita cherishes her time as a grandmother (or “Mema” as she is called) and enjoys catching up with her family, especially when they travel to Cabo or Hawaii as a group. She proudly serves as the president of her community’s Homeowners Association. She also has a particular affinity for walking the Seal Beach Pier and remembers every pothole of the 605 freeway between her home and Glendora.
