About Marilyn Johnson

Marilyn Johnson has been faithfully serving her community since 1987 with her accumulated knowledge, unimpeachable ethics, reliable responsiveness, and a healthy sense of humor. A “client-first” approach stands proudly at her core of principles, as she guides people from all walks of life to their real estate goals (though she admits she particularly loves helping first time homebuyers). Encouraging communication and questions, Marilyn carefully listens to her clients to understand every detail of their real estate dream before executing a strategic approach that prioritizes their needs. Ultimately, this finds her treating her clients like family members.

Marilyn was born in Pasadena but raised in Sierra Madre. Over the years, she’s collected an expert’s knowledge of the area, giving her clients an edge when seeking to understand the local housing market. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly Pomona, Marilyn had an unnecessarily rushed experience while trying to purchase a home, leaving her celebrating Christmas with her husband and two toddlers in a hotel room. This prompted her to take matters into her own hands, obtaining her real estate license so she could help clients with patience, care, and a tailor-made approach designed to fit their needs.

With a wonderful, supportive husband, three children, and nine grandchildren, Marilyn devotes free time to catching up with her family. She also enjoys needlework or simply some good old fashioned relaxation.
