About Ana Caban

The road to realty wasn’t a straightforward one for Ana Cabàn, but she walked the length of it to the rhythm of her own drum. Her natural charisma and meticulous organization have served her well, allowing her to enjoy life to the fullest all across the globe while never compromising her unique spirit.

While she was born in Amherst, Massachusetts, she was never anchored to her hometown, feeling just at home through different chapters of her life in India, Costa Rica, New York City, and Miami. Though she still enjoys travel, she’s been returning to Los Angeles since 2000 and now considers this gorgeous city her home. She graduated from UMass Amherst after immersing herself in a semester abroad in Spain and a summer in Italy. All of these experiences have contributed to a sense of worldliness that she regularly uses in her real estate career to connect with people from all walks of life.

Ana has spent over the last 20 years devoted to a highly successful career in the fitness and wellness space, using her carefully developed leadership skills to serve as a coach and guide to those in need of direction. But she’d always harbored a passion for architecture and real estate. She’d even originally majored in Interior Design. Her primary introduction to the real estate industry was of a personal nature as she was fortunate enough to amass a considerable amount of property. She was impressed by the complexities of purchasing and selling homes, but equally intrigued. And for Ana, that’s enough to set big things in motion. Today, she proudly serves a variety of neighborhoods including Glendale, Los Feliz, Pasadena, Burbank, the Hollywood Hills, and Eagle Rock.

Always the consummate professional, Ana prides herself on her astute communication skills. As a natural networker, she adores bringing people together in mutually beneficial arrangements that leave everyone smiling. She is committed to representing her clients in their unique goals as if they were her own. With vast experience in education and marketing, she artfully navigates you through the inherent twists and turns with a gentleness that leaves the process both simple and exhilarating.

Ana especially enjoys working with the senior community, which she does as a designated Seniors Real Estate Specialist®. When her best friend’s mother was stricken with ailment, Ana became heavily involved in offering support through painstaking research into assisted living options and memory care. This compassionate care continued even after her friend’s mother sadly passed away. She held her friend’s hand through the grieving process while diving headfirst into researching financial planning, estate planning, property management, and more.

With Ana’s own parents getting on in years, her service to the senior community has become even more personal. She spends a great deal of time scrutinizing available in-home resources and coordinating the services her parents require at their age. These experiences have energized her desire to help seniors in similar situations who may be considering downsizing or even transitioning to homecare or a live-in facility. Achieving her designation as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® is now allowing her to do the work that truly stirs her passion.

Whether in her personal or professional life, Ana loves a good project that allows her to marry her creativity to her love for organization. And nothing quite compares to the feeling she gets when checking items off her “to do” list. If you’ve ever worked out to a Pilates DVD or VHS, she may look familiar. That’s because she starred in a series of award-winning Pilates DVDs produced by Gaiam (today her videos and healthy lifestyle programs are available through streaming). But when she’s not making real estate dreams come true, you’ll likely find her spending quality time with her teen son and their rescue pup, hitting the town for some salsa dancing, catching some live jazz, or entertaining friends in the comforts of her home.
